Situated within the Kensington Conservation Area, this mid-19th century house, owned by an art collector, enjoys distant views across Holland Park and the Design Museum. Our practice developed a feasibility and concept study to test how the connection of the primary living spaces with the generous garden could be improved in the future and a person lift be integrated to make all floors accessible, allowing the owner to stay in his home. Various options were explored using digital and physical 3D models.
